Creative Ways to Announce Baby #3
After a couple of kids, how do you keep pregnancy announcements fun and creative? Having one of each gender with my first two I knew a long time ago I’d want to do a tie breaker announcement for Baby #3.
If you are in need of some ideas or know anyone who is – look no further! Even if you don’t need it now, save this post for future reference as many of these can be used for any baby announcement. I’ve done plenty of browsing and research to find these cute ideas and here is what I’ve come up with for creative Baby #3 announcements!
Tie Breaker
If you have one child of each gender already then this is my favorite. You could use a letter board, chalk, a picture, etc to make a score board with Girls: 1 and Boys: 1 and tiebreaker coming soon. This is the one I used. I had my kids hold a chalk board and then I put in the text graphic after.
Outnumbered
I’ve seen some cute ones using this theme where the parents are tied up or looking very overwhelmed. You could go with a “outnumbering mom and dad” message or a “officially outnumbered in DUE DATE MONTH”, etc. You could really get creative and funny with it!
Party of 5
I love the party of ___ announcements. It’s cute like a restaurant reservation. You could also do a cutesy Party of 5 TV show reference or font, etc.
Three’s Company
You could play around with the TV show “Three’s Company” to incorporate this one. Or just use it in reference to the three kids.
2+1=3
Thus cutesy numbered announcement is always cute. You can have the kids standing beside your belly and add a graphic.
Balloons
You could have each child holding a numbered ballon (1, 2, etc) and then have mom holding a 3 balloon by belly. Or you could simply have everyone holding a balloon that says baby.
Third Times a Charm
You could play off this popular saying. You could make it sweet or funny.
Big Sibling Training
You could have shirts made, have the kids reading big sibling books, or have the oldest child teaching the younger and call it Big Sibling Training like a school setting.
T-Shirts
Tshirt announcements are always cute. You could have the older kids in Big and Middle shirts and have a Little onesie for the baby. I’ve also seen ones that say Original, Remix, Encore. There are so many options for t-shirts and you can find so many cute sayings to go on them.
Ages & Pregnancy Weeks
If the ages of your kids line up with your pregnancy weeks this can be super cute. For example with my son I was able to take a photo of my daughter at 9 months and me at 9 weeks pregnant. Even if they don’t like up the same you could still do it (example 4 years old, 2 years old, 12 weeks).
Feet & Ages
Take a photo of everyone’s feet and place a pair of empty baby shoes beside the youngest. You could right everyone’s ages, year of birth, of month of birth, etc and then put the new little ones beside their shoes too.
Keep it Classic
If you prefer to keep it simple you can stick with the classic letter board, calendar, or baby out flat lay. Come up with a simple or cute saying and simply put “Baby #3 due XX”, etc.
Here We Grow Again
I did a “here we grow again” announcment with my 2nd pregnancy and still think its so cute! You could also play it funnier with a “what’s one more?” message.
I hope these ideas brought you some inspiration for any future announcements you may make or others you know who are looking for fun ways to announce. What is your favorite Baby #3 announcement? Let me know in the comments below!
